Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a prominent Commodities trading multinational as a Settlement Analyst, the role plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of physical and financial commodity trades.
Key Responsibilites
Oversee the creation, distribution, reconciliation, and settlement of invoices for both physical and financial trading activities.
Ensure pricing, due dates, and invoices align with contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of physical and financial trades, including reconciliation and issue resolution.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
Prepare, review, and present invoices with supporting documents, ensuring compliance with trade contracts and LC requirements.
Identify opportunities for improving settlement processes and manage ad-hoc tasks or projects.
Ensure adherence to trading standards, tax, and regulatory requirements, including sanctions and anti-money laundering policies.
Requirement
Minimum 2 years of experience in settlement in commodities.
Strong understanding of current market trends in the industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous, able to meet tight deadline
