Job Description
This position plays a key role in to the finance department of the company. The role is expected to ensure accounting data integrity and reporting accuracy of the AR cycle.
Key Responsibilites
Maintain and improve various accounting systems and processes, contributing ideas and innovations to enhance the month-end financial close, account analysis preparation, and financial reporting.
Lead the sales accounting function, ensuring accuracy and completeness of high-volume sales accounting entries from the in-house sales system to the ERP, and reporting to both external and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with the shared-service team to manage the full set of sales accounting.
Lead the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all transactions and collections. This includes preparing AR invoices, posting receipts, cash checks, balance sheet schedules, and reconciliations using ERP and in-house systems. Verify the accuracy of all work.
Manage and collaborate with external shared service teams.
Work closely with external and internal auditors for year-end and sales audits.
Requirement
Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA or Degree
3-6 years related work experience
Knowledge of accounting systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamix AX) and processes.
Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
Able to handle high volume of transactions and cost centre accounting.
Willing to learn basic data analytics and business partnering
